Sophia Herzog wins a Joan Grishkot FOundation Scholarship for not only her academic achievments but her research and community leadership as well. Congratulations!
Sophia Herzog is a current senior at Saratoga Springs High School. After graduation, Sophia will attend Rochester Institute of Technology, RIT, as a Biology major in the B.S./M.D. Program with SUNY Upstate Medical University in hopes of pursuing a career as a physician-scientist.
Sophia plays Varsity Tennis for her school team and does Krav Maga while frequently taking care of her pet chickens. She plans to continue her research regarding traumatic brain injury and continue tutoring children for free in the future.
