Congratulations to Smanatha Rocco on winning a ceveted Joan Grishkot Foundattion Scholarship Award to help her through medical school.
Samantha Antoinette Rocco will be graduating as Mechanicville High School’s Class of 2023 Valedictorian. Throughout her high school years at Mechanicville, she has been Class Treasurer, President of the S.A.D.D. Club, National Honor Society President, and founder of a cross-age peer mentoring/tutoring program. Samantha will be continuing her education at Union College, where she will be majoring in biology on a pre-medical track as a Union Scholar. Her goal is to become a physician and dedicate her life to helping children and their families in honor of her little sister Gabby. In her free time, Samantha enjoys dancing, watching baseball and hockey, going to the gym, and spending time with her amazing family and friends.
