The Joan Grishkot Foundation 2023 Schollarship was awarded to Jacquline Hogan to help further her training in the medical field due to her outstanding acemics as well as her leadership and community involvement. Congraulations to a well deserved award.
Jacqueline Hogan is a second-year medical student who attended Glens Falls High School before going on to Northeastern University, where she studied Health Science and Biology.
While at Northeastern, Hogan worked at Mass Eye and Ear, where she gained hands-on experience in the medical field, and confirmed her interest in medicine. She was also a member of the Triathlon team and led the Health Disparities Student Collaborative.
After graduating from Northeastern in 2020, Jackie took a gap year, during which she worked for Warren County Public Health and trained for an Ironman, before starting medical school at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, New York. During her time at Upstate, she founded the Upstate Triathlon club and participated in several races with friends who have a shared interest in remaining active and healthy while in medical school.
Jacqueline Hogan is grateful for the opportunity to attend medical school and is excited to gain more clinical experience in the near future.
