Congratulations go out to Ishan swali for earning a Walter Grishkot Foundation scholarship for 2023. Chosen from a large number of applicants, he has been honored for his academic achievements as well as his leadership skills and community involvement.
Ishan Swali is a high school senior in Clifton Park. He’s passionate about learning, and is interested in engineering, machine learning and robotics. This fall, he will begin studying Aerospace Engineering and Artificial Intelligence at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Outside of school, he is involved in his school's honor societies, track team, and computer science clubs. Additionally, he interns at a startup robotics company and a software development company. He tutors math and physics, spends his free time reading and playing board games with his family, and is a Cadet Colonel in the Civil Air Patrol. He recently earned his Private Pilot Certificate and is now pursuing his Instrument Rating as he works towards his lifelong goal of becoming an astronaut.
