A New York Federal Reserve study recently ranked aerospace engineering the fourth most lucrative college major, five years after graduation, according to a Feb. 20 CNBC report.
Five years after graduation, the median annual salary for those who majored in aerospace science was $72,000.
Engineering, in general, is a particularly lucrative career, accounting for eight of the ten highest paying majors five years after graduation.
