
The Grishkot Foundation announced the awarding of $67,500 in new scholarships and $27,500 in continuing scholarships, totaling $95,000 in scholarship funds to 16 students from Warren, Washington, and Saratoga counties. The scholarships were presented on June 10th at an awards luncheon at The Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls, NY. The Glens Falls Kiwanis Club administers the Grishkot Foundation Scholarship.
2026 Grishkot Foundation Scholarship Winners
Recipients of the Joan Grishkot Memorial Scholarship for students pursuing a career in nursing:
Nataliya Oliynyk (Clifton Park, NY) Nataliya is a senior in Shenendehowa High School. She plans to attend Siena College in the fall to study Nursing where she will begin her studies to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Sophia Allen (Saratoga Springs, NY) Sophia is a senior at Saratoga Springs High School. She plans to attend Sacred Heart University in the fall, where she will study nursing. Sophia’s goal is to earn a master’s degree in nursing and become a Nurse Practitioner specializing in pediatric oncology.
Bridget Giernacky (Warrensburg, NY). Bridget is a graduate of The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex (WSWHE) BOCES LPN program and is continuing her education at SUNY Adirondack to become a Registered Nurse.
Deanna Lamkins (Queensbury, NY) Deanna is a senior at Queensbury High School. She plans to attend Siena University in the fall, where she will study Nursing. Deanna’s goal is to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Maggie Goodwin (Glens Falls, NY) Maggie is a senior at Glens Falls High School. Maggie plans to attend Siena University, where she will major in Nursing in the Belanger School of Nursing. Maggie’s long-term goal is to receive a Master’s Degree in Nursing and become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Brooke Anderson (Queensbury, NY) Brooke is a senior at Queensbury High School. She will be attending SUNY Plattsburgh in the fall, where she plans to study Nursing. Brooke’s long-term career goal is to receive her master’s degree in Nursing and to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Brandy Tifft (Argyle, NY) Brandy is a practical nursing student at The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex (WSWHE) BOCES where she will graduate in June 2026. Brandy's long-term goal is to transition from an LPN to a Registered Nurse.
Nicole Hartwell (Cambridge, NY) Nicole is a practical nursing student at The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex (WSWHE) BOCES where she will graduate in June 2026. She plans to attend SUNY Adirondack in the fall to pursue her Registered Nurse degree.

Peyton Conway (Queensbury, NY) Peyton is a senior at Queensbury High School. She plans to attend Clarkson University in the fall, where she will study Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Peyton's long-term goal is to get her master’s and work for NASA.
Sarah Conduzio (Queensbury, NY) Sarah is a senior at Glens Falls High School. She will attend the University of Tennessee in the fall to study aerospace engineering, with the long-term goal of earning a master’s degree to become an astronautical engineer.
